The nose is fresh, aromatic and offers power as well as concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with small notes of red berries, cornflower/rose, small touches of liquorice, caramelization as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate and gray pepper (in the background). The palate is fresh, racy and offers juiciness, fat, a good definition, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a fine unctuosity, fullness, volume, a fine power as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, wild strawberry and more slightly fleshy raspberry associated with fine hints of black cherry, liquorice as well as a hint of coffee and zan/tobacco. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Small bitterness on the finish.
