On the nose it is elegant, precise and offers controlled power, an airy side as well as a discreet tight side. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, dried wild strawberries and more lightly fairly small ripe fruits associated with touches of nutmeg, black tea, a hint of black pepper as well as discreet hints of tobacco and with a subtle hint of undergrowth. On the palate is fruity and offers minerality, suavity, roundness, some fat, freshness, a racy grain as well as a discreet airy side in the approach. This wine expresses notes of fairly ripe Boysenberry, juicy raspberry and more slightly ripe berry fruit associated with a touch of lily, nutmeg, cardamom, with discreet hints of toasted hazelnut, almond, spices as well as a subtle hint of black tea and Bourbon vanilla (in the background). Tannins are precise and smooth. Good length.
