Château Cantenac – Sélection Madame 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and offers fleshiness. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy wild cassis and more slightly of crushed wild strawberries associated with touches of violet / lilac as well as fine hints of bergamot. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a little pulpiness, a certain gourmandize as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy strawberries, pulpy redcurrants and more slightly fleshy cassis associated with touches of bergamot as well as a subtle hint of chocolate / cocoa and an imperceptible hint almost sage (in the background). Good length.
