The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration as well as a fine tension and a fine straightness. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, small fleshy black fruits and small notes of pulpy blueberry associated with small touches of raspberry, strawberry flowers as well as hints of violet, liquorice, very discreet hints of pepper and iris. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, freshness as well as a good minerality, a small concentration, a fine acidulous frame as well as a fine suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of blueberry, raspberry as well as hints of small red berries, fine hints of iris, lily, tonka bean/cocoa and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are very discreetly chewy. Good length.
