The nose is aromatic, fruity, spicy and offers deepness, a beautiful intensity and a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, bigarreau cherryand small notes of wild strawberry, violet associated with touches of spices, rose wood, lilac, pink pepper, black tea as well as discreet hints of Badiane, coriander, a discreet hint of caramelization and an imperceptible hint of incense/nutmeg. The palate is fruity, elegant, gourmand, juicy, beautiful defined and offers deepness, intensity, a fine concentration as well as gourmandize, a beautiful minerality, freshness and a sensual/silky side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of violet, bigarreau cherry, small black fruits as well as a subtle hint of small red berries, chocolate/tonka bean, graphite, incense, violet candy, pepper, a subtle hint of cherry blossom, caramelization and almond. Tannins are precise, structuring and well-built. Good length. A very fine bitterness/roasted on the persistence. A fine chew on the persistence (brings notes of almond, chocolate and vanilla).
