Château Cantenac Brown 2017 – Margaux Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly spices associated with a discreet hint of crushed raspberry, cassis, gray pepper as well as a very discreet hint of lilac and almond. The palate is fresh, fruity, elegant, well-balanced, very discreetly tight, very slightly dense and offers a beautiful definition, a fine acid frame, a fine fat, tension, a beautiful structure, harmony, a beautiful delicacy/finesse, complexity, fullness as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and more slightly of strawberry, crushed raspberry associated  with subtle hint of black cherry, flowers (lilac, violet), very fine touches of dark chocolate, toasted oak/caramelized, spices as well as a very discreet hint of roasted/toated bread. Beautiful persistence on touches of dark chocolate/cocoa and toasted almond. Well done!
