The nose is slightly tight and offers intensity, power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, small wild black fruits, small notes of violet associated with touches of small crunchy blue berries, iris, fresh lily as well as very fine hints of liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, a good definition, juiciness as well as a fine concentration and a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis, small notes of juicy/fresh blueberry associated with small touches of crushed red berries, small blue berries as well as hints of liquorice, cardamom and a subtle hint of tonka bean. Tannins are well-built.
