The nose is elegant, fruity and offers a beautiful fruity, elegance, a small gourmandize as well as delicacy. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, ripe blackberry and more slightly crushed/ripe strawberry associated with small touches of griotte, violet/lily, liquorice, underwood as well as discreet hints of toasted, tonka bean, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a good definition, a fine juiciness, a fine richness, a good guideline, a mineral frame as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte, cassis and more slightly ripe wild blackberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, lily, underwood as well as a hint of truffle and tonka bean. Tannins are well-built and elegant. There is a very discreet hint of almond and underwood on the persistence.
