The nose is fruity, racy and offers power and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, small wild berries, small notes of black pepper associated with small touches of crushed strawberry, small fleshy/juicy blue fruits as well as hints of racy minerality, graphite, zan, hints of sugared mild tobacco, nutmeg and an imperceptible iodine hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely tight and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, gourmandize as well as finesse, suavity and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of small pulpy/fresh blue fruits, cornflower, lilac, a racy minerality as well as a discreet hint of camphor, sugared mild tobacco and zan. Good length. Tannins are coating and very discreetly soft. Very fine hints of chocolate/cocoa on the persistence.
