The nose is fruity, elegant, very finely tight and offers a fine grain, an aerial side. It reveals notes of ripe strawberry, crushed raspberry, small notes of ripe/juicy cassis associated with small touches of fresh cornflower, fresh lily as well as hints of small fresh/juicy fruits, fresh mild tobacco, very fine hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, concentration, tension as well as finesse, a fine/racy grain, a beautiful definition of the fruit, juicy/ripe fruit and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe wild cassis, fresh violet, small notes of fresh/juicy raspberry associated with touches of tonka bean, zan, toasted, toasted almond as well as fine hints of sweet spices. Good length. Tannins are elegant, well-built and racy.
