The palate is fresh, fruity, elegant, suave, racy, gourmandze and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a beautiful straightness, tension, a beautiful structure, a very beautiful definition, silky as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. A beautiful balanced between structure, straightness, elegance, finesse and power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberryn fresh/fleshy cassis and small notes of crushed raspberry, fleshy/crushed red berries associated with touches of flowers (peony, cornflower), fine hints of chocolate, toasted, a very discreet hint of vanilla as well as an imperceptible varietal hint and black tea (in the background). Tannins are elegant, fine, precise and structuring. Good length and beautiful persistence. A very discreet chew on the finish/persistence.
