The nose is elegant, powerful, racy and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain and richness. It reveals notes of cassis, cornflower, violet and small notes of Cuben pepper associated with touches of Boysen berry, fleshy Gariguette strawberry, hints of nutmeg, graphite as well as slight hints of sweet spices and toasted. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, tension, a good suavity/fat, a beautiful precision as well as power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of small juicy/crunchy small fruits, violet, iris, tonka bean as well as discreet hints of cardamom, tea and sweet spices. Tannins are elegant, racy and structuring. A very discreet hint almost saline and a hint of caramelization on the persistence.
