The nose is elegant, racy and deep, with a lovely intensity and a great spicy delicacy. There are notes of boysenberry, wild strawberry and, more discreetly, roasted and elegant red berries, associated with touches of blue plum, blond tobacco, star anise, as well as subtle hints of spices, racy and almost infused aromas, which bring a certain depth. The wine is beautifully textured and velvety. The palate is elegant, racy, delicate, airy, all in finesse and smoothness. It deploys a richness, a density and a depth all in lightness. The notes of creamy blackberry, creamy cassis and very ripe strawberry are associated with touches of small bright blue fruits, as well as fine hints of elegant roasted fruits. The wine also offers beautiful and delicate nuances of blueberry, tobacco, toast and subtle touches of caramel. Delicate hints of crushed red fruits bring an elegant roundness and subtlety, offering a spherical and delicate touch. A beautiful salinity and an iodized touch on the finish, with a remarkable persistence. The persistence is sapid, mellow, with floral notes of lily, violet and a hint of green cardamom.
