The nose is elegant, racy, tight, velvety, beautifully elegant and fine. It reveals notes of blueberry jam and plum associated with slight notes of coffee and chocolate. The palate is fine and offers an acid frame, freshness, tension, a beautiful defintion as well as a beautiful, silky and unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis jam and Quetsche plum associated with slight notes of powdered chocolate, a discrete hint of strawberry (in the background) as well as small touches of toasted oak. Tannins are fine, velvety and elegant. Good length and persistence.
