Château Cambon La Pelouse 2021 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel

The nose is fruity, elegant and reveals juiciness, a certain brightness and a fine power. There are notes of crushed wild blackberry, crushed strawberry and more lightly camphor combined with touches of pepper, lily as well as fine nuances of nutmeg and a discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, minerality, elegance, harmony, acidity/juiciness, precision, silkiness, airiness, fine/very discreetly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy/acidic blackcurrant and more slightly violet, blueberry combined with hints of graphite, toasted almond, a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco and vanilla. Good length.
