The nose is racy, with concentration, a certain intensity and a racy grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, and small notes of pepper, associated with touches of tobacco, crushed cassis, as well as fine hints of licorice and a discreet, almost balsamic hint. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, gourmand and elegant. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, bright cassis and more discreetly, small red berries, associated with touches of cassis, creamy cherry, as well as hint of licorice stick and a little note of balsamic and cocoa. Tannins are mellow and offer chewy. Good length and persistence.
