The nose is fruity and finely intense / powerful. It reveals notes of ripe wild redcurrants, wild blackberries and small notes of cassis combined with a touch of garrigue, spices, Sichuan pepper and a discreet hint of wood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, straight, relatively silky and offers a nice mineral frame, a good volume, softness / fluidity as well as fat. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of cassis, crushed strawberry and small notes of crushed redcurrant associated with a touch of fleshy cherry, garrigue as well as a subtle touch of toasted oak, cornflower, black olive and a discreet hint of spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
