The nose is mineral, a little restrained at present and offers some fruit. The wine would benefit from being decanted. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of roasted fruits, a hint of zan, violet as well as hints of black liquorice and a subtle almost fresh balsamic hint. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a little fat, a tangy frame, a fine sappy/floral hint in the background as a guideline. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of juicy violet plum associated with a touch of crushed raspberry, fleshy blueberry, camphor, incense, toast and vanilla. A little chew on the finish/persistence.
