The nose is aromatic and offers concentration, fruit as well as floral side. It reveals notes of raspberry, blackberry and slightly nutmeg associated with touches of pulpy berry fruits, crushed currants, pepper and a subtle hint of blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, minerality, fine richness, good definition, elegance, roundness as well as a little fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, fresh / crunchy raspberry and more slightly of fresh berries associated with a touch of crunchy strawberry, juicy / tangy purple plum, with hints of caramelization, toastiness, almond as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean and licorice. Tannins are precise and finely mellow. Good length. Presence of a hint of chocolate on the persistence.
