The nose is fresh, well-balanced and offers fleshiness, a fine intensity, a fine minerality as well as a very fine incisive side. It reveals notes of cassis, ripe/juicy small berries and fresh strawberry associated with subtle touches of racy minerality, fresh lily, sweet spices as well as a discreet hint of tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of tea. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, aery and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame, suavity, tension, fat, fullness, a beautiful grain as well as unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, crushed blackberry, fleshy wild strawberry and fine touches of crunchy small red berries associated with subtle hints of flowers, tonka bean, sweet spices/nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of almond. Tannins are slightly firm. Good length. Fine power on the persistence.
