It reveals notes of crushed currants, fairly ripe wild strawberries and more slightly of dry blueberry associated with touches of lily, truffle, fine hints of cedar as well as a discreet hint of tobacco and chocolate. The palate is balanced and offers good substance, freshness, fine power, richness, fine texture as well as a certain concentration and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of dried Boysenberry, dried blackcurrant and more slightly crushed raspberry associated with touches of cocoa, truffle, fine hints of undergrowth as well as a subtle hint of tobacco and toasted almond. Tannins are supple and well done. Good length.
