The nose is elegant, delicate and offers a certain discretion in its power. There are hints of ripe wild strawberry, red currant and, to a lesser extent, violet, combined with fine touches of blackcurrant, a hint of camphor, pulpy/ripe blue berries, as well as discreet hints of lily, cuben pepper, light tobacco and an imperceptible hint of clove. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness, minerality, good definition, juiciness and a fresh character. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, raspberry and more slightly fleshy cherry notes combined with hints of violet, fresh blueberry as well as racy/gravelly minerality, fine salinity, chocolate, a discreet hint of clove, toast and blond/smoked tobacco. The tannins are supple, fresh and elegant.
