The nose is fruity and offers a slight richness, a slight density and elegance. It reveals notes of boysenberries, strawberry and cassis combined with hints of crushed cherry, caramelized oak, subtle hints of chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of juicy blueberry and an imperceptible touch of Timut pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, a small acidity (in the background), a slight tension, a small fat and gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy boysenberry and crushed redcurrant combined with a subtle hint of blueberry, spices, wood as well as an imperceptible touch of Timut pepper and chocolate. Tannins are fine and slightly dusty. Good persistence.
