Lovely, elegant, bright, racy nose offering intensity and finesse as well as a lovely, very fine and taut grain. Depth and harmony. It reveals notes of morello cherry, blueberry and small notes of crushed Charlotte strawberry associated with touches of fresh blueberry, Cubeb pepper as well as fine hints of elegant roasted fruits, an almost Mediterranean touch of certain fruits and a discreet hint of anise. The palate is beautifully structured, delicate, fresh, supple, airy and offers beautiful maturity, pulpiness, a lovely Mediterranean touch of the fruit, depth, elegant darkness as well as a lovely bright roasted juiciness. All in precision. A lovely multi-layered profile. Lovely softness on the mid-palate. This wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, elegant roasted strawberry and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of fleshy Bigarreau cherry, a hint of crushed raspberry as well as a discreet almost mandarin hint, discreet hints of tobacco, tonka bean / chocolate, a subtle hint of toast. The tannins are sapid, elegant, savoury and gourmand. Some chalky notes on the finish. Beautiful persistence.
