On the nose, fruit forward, controlled/precise, with lovely ripe/juicy fruit, intensity, fine grain, finesse and depth. With notes of bright raspberry, bright cassis and more lightly lily combined with hints of cherry blossom, pulpy/ripe berries and spice. The palate is fruity, balanced, racy and offers minerality, a nice freshness, a certain gourmandize, a good definition, a little fat, roundness as well as finesse in its richness. On the palate expressing juicy/fresh strawberries, fresh/juicy cassis and more lightly violet notes combined with touches of bright/juicy red berries, hints of tonka bean, sweet spices, a hint of toasted almond as well as a subtle hint of vanilla and chocolate (in the background). The tannins are elegant, precise and mellow.
