The nose is elegant, fresh, precise and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, intensity, a certain deepness, silkiness, power (full of delicacy) as well as complexity. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, fleshy/crushed blueberry and violet associated with touches of Sichuan pepper, small bright black fruits, iris as well green cardamom. The palate is fruity, fresh, elegant, beautifully gourmand, precise and offers silkiness, power (full of control), minerality as well as delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, violet plum and small notes of small ripe black fruits associated with touches of crushed raspberry, violet, grey pepper as well as very discreet hints of crushed cherry, toasted, chocolate and almond. Tannins are well-built, elegant, racy and powdered. Good persistence.
