It reveals notes of pulpy/bright cassis, small black berries, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of liquorice stick, black cherry as well as fine hints of pencil lead, sweet spices, black tea, very discreet hints of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of saffron. The palate is elegant, beautifully built and offers a racy minerality, power (well-controlled), a certain purity of the fruit as well as suavity, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a fine acidulous frame, tension and a certain delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, bright blackberry, small notes of small acidulous blue berries associated with fine touches of crunchy/acidulous raspberry, cornflower, violet, pencil lead as well as an imperceptible hint of fresh vanilla pod, fine hints of zan, toasted and fresh tobacco. Tannins are fine, precise and elegant. A hint of mocha on the finish. Sapidity and gourmandize on the finish.
