The nose is aromatic and powerful. It reveals notes of leather, cassis and fine notes of ripe black fruit combined with a hint of spice, strawberry jam and a discreet touch of pepper, smoke, undergrowth, flowers and minerality. The palate is fruity, mineral, unctuous, elegant, racy and well-structured. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and fine notes of plum, blueberry associated with a hint of raspberry, small red berries as well as touches of oak, minerality and vanilla. There are discreet notes of caramelization / hazelnut on the finish / aftertaste. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
