Château Bournac 2022 – Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

Château Bournac 2022 – Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and gourmand with fruit flesh. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, violet and bright little wild red berries, associated with touches of cassis and a hint of gray pepper. The palate is well-built, supple, juicy and gourmande, with a tangy frame, a nice fat and a delicate texture. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, pulpy/chunky raspberry and small notes of crushed red berries, associated with touches of cornflower, star anise and chocolate, as well as fine hints of chocolate, toast and caramel. Nicely fresh, juicy and gourmande. A wine that’s easy to access and marry. Good persistence with hints of toast.
