On the nose, fruity, elegant and offers concentration, good definition, precision, depth, a nice finesse in the texture as well as richness, a slightly velvety side. It reveals notes of bright blackberry, plump purple plum and subtle notes of wet stone, caramelization associated with touches of violet, tonka bean, hints of ripe black berries, a touch of Timur Berry/ Napel green pepper, a discreet touch of dark chocolate and toast. On the palate, fruity, with finesse/precision and offers smoothness, juiciness, minerality, a juicy/acidic frame, nice definition, roundness as well as gourmandize and a little tension.
The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and subtle notes of bright violet combined with hints of crushed blackcurrant, bright cherry as well as discreet touches of blueberry, chocolate, vanilla, toast and toasted hazelnut. Good length. The tannins are precise, well-structured, smooth and creamy. An imperceptible touch of coffee on the finish.
