The nose is aromatic, slightly powerful and offers a slight gourmandise as well as elegance. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and slight notes of cassis, cherry associated with subtle hints of toasted oak, liquorice as well as a hint of cardamom and pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a nice mineral frame, a slight richness, fat and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fleshy blackberry, cassis and slight notes of cherry associated with hints of toasted oak, cardamom as well as a subtle hint of Timut pepper and a very discreet hint of hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
