Nice ruby color, limpid and shiny. The first nose is gourmand and intense with notes of pepper, rose and red fruits such as raspberry. With aeration, the spices and the toast become more intense. There are sweet spices, a touch of saffron, vanilla. But also orange zest, a little black pepper and notes of undergrowth. Nice complexity. The palate is fresh, aromatic. We feel the power of alcohol but there is a nice balance with the acidity. Black pepper, rose, sweet spices and vanilla envelop the palate. The finish is drier with slightly tight tannins on a still young vintage that needs to be expressed. Berries like blackberries and black cherries are fresh and tangy. The finish is on coffee and leather, intense and long.
