The nose is fine, fruity and slightly discreet. It reveals notes of cassis and blackberry associated with a hint of flowers as well as Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, racy, well-balanced and offers minerality as well as a beautifully silky and slightly unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, blueberry and black cherry associated with a slight touch of plum as well as a hint of zan, cassis bud, a few slight notes of coffee (in the background) and a few slight notes of grilled oak (in the background). Tannins are fine. Good length and persistence.
