Château Bois de Roc 2021 – Médoc

The nose is fresh, racy and reveals a certain power, a fine and precise grain. There are hints of fresh red berries, fresh raspberry and slightly brighter blackcurrant with hints of star anise, toast and grey pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity and demonstrates minerality, a juicy/acidic structure, tension and a delicate sweetness and volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and more slightly acidic red berries combined with hints of chocolate, almond. A subtle hint of varietal and vanilla in the background. Good length.
