The nose offers beautiful concentration and maturity. It expresses notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, morello cherry, strawberry and roasted red cherry, accompanied by spicy notes of nutmeg, licorice, white pepper, as well as herbaceous and floral touches of dried mint, menthol and violet. On the palate, the wine is silky, but firm. It offers a tight, drying tannin structure, but with a fine texture. It expresses notes of fresh morello cherry, black plum, blackcurrant, strawberry and red cherry, accompanied by notes of peppermint, licorice, white pepper, bitter cocoa and dried cornflower. Beautiful refreshing acidity which balances the dry side of the tannins. Nice length on the fruits. Juiciness and elegance.
