The nose is fruity, structured and offers a slight straightness. It reveals notes of cassis, raspberry and slight notes of cherry associated with subtle hints of spices and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice freshness, a slight suavity, a slight gourmandise, straightness, a good structure, a fresh frame as well as a slight juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh raspberry, ripe / fresh redcurrant and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of fresh cherry, minerality as well as subtle touches of licorice and sweet spices. Tannins are a bit chewy. Good length. There is a subtle hint of chocolate on the aftertaste.
