The nose is aromatic, relatively elegant and offers a small gourmand side. It reveals notes of cassis, small red fruits and raspberry associated with slight notes of oak, blackberry, licorice as well as a discreet toasted hint and mocha. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-built and offers a slight minerality, a nice acid fram as well as a small gourmand side. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of raspberry, jelly redcurrant and slight notes of blackberry, cassis associated with hints of oak, mocha as well as a discreet hint of cardamom and sweet spices (Bourbon vanilla…). Tannins are very fine, a bit dusty and young. Good length and persistence. There is a slight note of grilled/roasting on the persistence/aftertaste.
