Château Biston-Brillette 2022 – Moulis-en-Médoc

The nose offers intensity, controlled power and depth. Notes of boysenberry, violet and wild strawberry are combined with hints of cardamom, camphor, Bigarreau cherry and roasted-elegant fruit. The palate offers fruit, minerality, concentration, freshness, infusion and depth. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of roasted-elegant fruit, Bigarreau cherry and more lightly, crushed raspberry, combined with hints of chocolate and toasted hazelnut. Tannins are mellow and gourmand. A certain chewiness on the finish/persistence. Good work on the bitters in the background.
