Château Biston-Brillette 2020 – Moulis-en-Médoc, Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a certain concentration, a small aerial side and harmony. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, small ripe/fresh black fruits, small notes of fresh red berries associated with touches of violet, racy minerality, a hint of camphor as well as fine hints of almond and saffron. The mouth is fruity, finely tight, balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, suavity and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy raspberry, small notes of small bright red berries associated with touches of violet, racy minerality, graphite as well as hints of crushed blueberry, tonka bean/chocolate, fine hints of caramelization and an imperceptible hint of hazelnut (in the background). The tannins are very finely marked/firm.
