The nose is fresh, racy and offers fine power and minerality. There are notes of fresh blackcurrant, fresh/juicy wild strawberry and slightly juicy/fresh violet plum combined with fine touches of fresh lily, racy minerality and discreet hints of sweet spice. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, good definition, juiciness, some fat and an acidic frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy raspberry, juicy red berries and a hint of violet combined with touches of crunchy berries, fine hints of liquorice and a subtle, almost sappy, spicy edge. The tannins are mellow. Good length.
