Château Beynat, Tout en Merlot Cuvée des Lyres 2017 – Castillon Côtes-de-Castillon

The nose is aromatic, racy and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild berries and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of small red berries as well as a subtle hint of sweet spices and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a fine acidulous frame as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with fine touches of violet, fleshy/juicy violet plum as well as a subtle hint of liquorice. Good length.
