The nose is a bit powerful. It reveals notes of truffle, black fruits (cassis, blackberry and a slight touch of blueberry) associated with notes of camphor and oak. The palate is fruity, balanced, well-built and offers a small minerality as well as a quite silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cherry and slight notes of cassis associated with touches of spice, licorice, discreet notes of figs as well as touches of toasted oak, spices and a discreet note of tobacco. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length and persistence (with notes of fruits: blackberry, blueberry…). The finish is a bit powerful.
