The nose is elegant, fruity and offers power, a fine freshness as well as a small aromatic power. It reveals notes of ripe/fresh cassis, ripe/fresh Boysen berry and small notes of mall red fruits associated with very fine hints of gravels (terroir), Cuben pepper and a subtle hint of nutmeg/exotic spices. The palate is fruity, beautifully fresh, elegant, well-balanced and offers precision, an acidulous/mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy/juicy raspberry, blackberry associated with fine touches of toasted, toasted almond as well as a subtle hint of iris (in the background) and an imperceptible almost iodine hint (in the background). Tannins are well-built and precise. Good length. There is a subtle hint of toasted almond on the finish as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization on the persistence.
