It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, Boysen berry and small notes of wild raspberry associated with small touches of Cuben pepper, spices, smoke, very discreet hints of meat as well as a hint of tea and liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful juiciness, a mineral frame, a good definition, precision, a small straightness, a beautiful finesse/elegance, delicacy, a beautiful silky side, a very fine unctuosity as well as elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy/fleshy wild raspberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry associated with small touches of underwood, Cuben pepepr, meat/smoke as well as very discreet hints of tea, chocolate (in the background), a subtle hint of nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are elegant. A very discreet chew on the finish/persistence.
