The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers finesse, elegance and a certain delicacy. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis combined with slight notes of violet, berries pepper and a touch of red fruit. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively silky and offers an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum, cassis and juicy strawberry associated with slight notes of blueberry as well as a hint of chocolate, a few woody touches and spices. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence with slight notes of dark chocolate, coffee and a hint of toasted oak.
