The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fleshy, ripe and fruity. It expresses notes of morello cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, blackcurrant jam, compote red cherry, as well as notes of dried mint, licorice, clove, violet and cornflower. On the palate, the attack is airy and juicy, but the mid-palate is a little tight. The tannins are grippy, but have a fine texture. We find flavors of blackcurrant, strawberry, crushed raspberry, redcurrant jelly, morello cherry and stewed red cherry, associated with notes of licorice, clove, violet, dried mint, violet and cornflower. The finish is gourmand and warm, refreshed by a nice acidity.
