The nose is fresh, racy, mineral and offers a good richness. It reveals notes of fresh strawberry, fresh cassis and small notes of fresh/crunchy blueberry associated with touches of tonka bean as well as discreet hint of violet, toasted, chocolate and a subtle hint of tea. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, tension, a good definition, a fine suavity, gourmandize as well as a certain precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy cassis, juicy/ripe blackberry and small notes of ripe/juicy raspberry associated with touches of racy minerality as well as fine hints of flowers, cardamom, sweet spices and a subtle hint of nutmeg (in the background). Tannins are structuring. A subtle hint of mocha and an imperceptible hint of vanilla on the aftertaste.
