Château Berdière 2018 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The nose reveals notes of small wild berries, small notes of bramble, violet associated with a touch of reduction, a discreet hint of clove and an imperceptible hint of pepper (in the background). This wine should be decanted. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, tension, a fine suavity, a certain fullness/richness as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/crunchy cassis, juicy/fleshy red berries, small notes of rose associated with fine hints of bramble, reduction, a discreet hint of fresh leather/tobacco, vanilla and toasted.
