The nose is fruity, racy, elegant and reveals fine concentration, finesse and energy. There are notes of crushed raspberry, bright black fruits and a hint of blackberry combined with hints of violet and a hint of star anise. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and reveals juiciness, minerality, acidity, energy, definition and a certain gourmandize. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, redcurrant and small notes of fresh/pulpy blue berries combined with a touch of acidulous cherry as well as hints of graphite, salinity and a subtle hint of star fruit. Tannins are precise and relatively mellow. Good length. Nice sapidity on the finish/persistence.
