The nose is fruity and reveals concentration, good definition and fine richness. There are notes of pulpy strawberry, fleshy cherry and, to a lesser extent, blackcurrant, combined with small touches of racy minerality and fine hints of smoke, star anise and grey pepper. The palate is fruity, showing minerality, acidity, juiciness, crunchiness of the fruit and a fine airiness in the texture. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, crunchy raspberry and more lightly fresh/crunchy cherry notes combined with hints of lily, tonka bean, lilac, racy minerality, a lovely wine carried on the finish by pungent minerality. Good length.
